Granliden, boarding house, Bed and Breakfast, Conference and Spa, located in Ludvigsborg, in the centre of Skåne. Granliden has been a boarding house and Bed and Breakfast for most of the 20th century. In 2006 a new conference and spa building was finished and since then most of the activities have been spa or conference related. Conferences are mostly booked by companies, municipilaties or organizations. Spa bookings are often combined with conferences but may also be made by people who seek rest and relaxation. The beautiful nature around Granliden, close to the lake Ringsjön and Fulltofta nature reserve, fits well with the restful concept that Granliden wants to represent. The stream Kvesarumsån that runs in Granliden’s vicinity, with rapids and waterfalls, offers a more accessible peaceful area for conference participants that don’t have time to stroll for hours in Fulltofta nature reserve.
During semesters conferences and spa are the dominating activities on Granliden. In the summer the Bed and Breakfast takes over with tourists from Europe and other parts of the world.
The vision is for Granliden to be a place of recreation, where guests can feel at home and find peace of mind and harmony, regardless of whether they’ve come for a conference, the spa, boarding house or the Bed and Breakfast.
